GET ME TO THIS KELLY WEARSTLER-DESIGNED HOTEL

I’ve still got a thing about about patched-together stripes - see my bedroom exhibit 1 - but I don’t think I’m quite finished with them yet. And I was looking for a bit more inspiration when I came across the beautiful interiors of the Proper Hotel in San Francisco.

Proper Hotels is a chain in the US, and all the interiors are designed by super designer Kelly Wearstler, but it was this San Francisco hotel that really captured my attention. This design is all about the mix of pattern, without colour playing too pivotal a role.

Fun, but sophisticated, I absolutely love it, and I also really want to go to San Francisco, so if someone could fund my stay there that’d be great.
