7 INTERIORS THINGS I LOVE THIS WEEK...
I spend a lot of time looking at interiors-related stuff every day for work, and so much of it I like. However, a lot of it I end up never buying, or never featuring in articles and shoots.
So I thought I’d start a blog round up of my favourite interiors discoveries of the week and let you know where you can find them. Some of the links may be affiliate links, just so you know!
CONCRETE CANDLE PLATE
The lovely Laura at Concrete & Wax sent me some of her beautiful hand-poured concrete candle holders and candles to try out a little while back. I haven’t really shared them yet, mainly because I’ve been waiting to finish my living room and find the perfect spot for them, but I love, love this candle plate which has found its home on the coffee table. It’s the perfect off-white and there’s just enough texture and detail from the concrete that adds some interest but isn’t overworked to be too industrial. All of Concrete & Wax’s pieces are interchangeable too, so you can use this for larger candles as well as tea lights.
SKULTUNA BRASS ACCESSORIES
A new brand discovery for me this week, Skultuna is a Swedish heritage brand specialising in high-quality brass. I’m hopefully going to be doing a bit of work with them sometime soon, but lots of beautiful designs to choose from. Loved this puzzle candle holder and candle snuffer in particular - can just imagine them on my coffee table.
DRIED FLOWER ACRYLIC CUBES
The Conran Shop has all kinds of these dried flowers suspended in acrylic. I’m always after little objects when styling up a shelf etc, just to sit next to a vase or the like, and these are all in earthy colours and interesting shapes.
HEBE TABLE LAMP
My vibe at the moment is sculptural, organic forms in white, offset against a more taupe-y backdrop for just the slightest contrast. I love love this lamp from Ferm Living.
OKI GLASS SIDE TABLE
Sometimes, you need a big side table to fill up the space along a sofa, but this smoked glass one from Made is great because it’ll feel light in the space, but also obscure any plugs that might be hiding behind it.
